PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
Learn the techniques needed for most atelier jobs. Revisions, cleanings, adjustments, replacement of moving parts, seals, etc. These works will allow you to develop in the beginning and will give you the basis for corrective maintenance.
CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE
Dent repairs, tin soldering, silver soldering, rod alignments, piston and rotor alignment, replacement of fixed parts, pipe widening, etc. Everything you will need to serve your customers in your workshop.

WHICH TOOLS SHOULD I START WITH?
The first tool you will need is a workbench, as well as a vise. After that you can purchase hand tools such as wrenches, files and pliers.
DOES IT TAKE A LOT OF AREA TO START?
I think that 10 square meters is the minimum indicated for the beginning. Bearing in mind that you will need a workbench and other furniture/tools from the start. But be sure to start if your available space is less than that.
IS IT NECESSARY TO BE A MUSICIAN TO WORK AS A LUTHIER?
Lutherie is directly linked to music. However, it is not mandatory that you are a musician. Great luthiers, they became very famous without ever having played an instrument.
